In the Indian Premier League 2023, the first match of the playoffs will be played on 23 May. The playoffs will see the first qualifier match between Gujarat Giants and Chennai Super Kings. The last match of the league match before the playoff battle was played with Royal Challengers Bangalore. In this match, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost by six wickets, after which their IPL journey was over.
