Protesting wrestlers tour Haryana and Punjab to drum up support for Mahapanchayat

Protesting wrestlers including Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia will tour different parts of northern India to drum up support in their protest against Wrestling Federation of India chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Their aim is to garner support for the women’s mahapanchayat to be held in front of the new parliament building on May 28. Wrestler Sangeeta Phogat, who took charge of the dharna at Jantar Mantar, said that she is visiting all the different places and talking to the khap leaders regarding the future course of action.
