Newcastle qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 20 years

Newcastle are currently third with 70 points from 37 matches while Leicester are placed 18th in the middle team table with 31 points from as many matches.

Newcastle. Newcastle qualified for the Champions League football tournament for the first time in 20 years after playing a goalless draw with Leicester in the English Premier League (EPL) here on Monday. The draw means the team will remain in the top four even if they lose their final match of the season against Chelsea on Sunday. Meanwhile, Leicester remain in danger of relegation to the lower leagues.

The team will have to beat West Ham in their last match if they want to avoid relegation to the second tier league. Newcastle are currently third with 70 points from 37 matches while Leicester are placed 18th in the middle team table with 31 points from as many matches.
