Paris. Lionel Messi returned to the Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) squad after serving a brief suspension but it was Kylian Mbappe who stole the hearts of his side’s 5-0 win over Ajaccio in a French Football League match. The win extended PSG a six-point lead over second-placed Lens and moved closer to a record 11th French league title. Now with three rounds of matches left to be played, PSG have 81 points from 35 matches. Lens has 75 points in as many matches.

On the other hand, Ajaccio has slipped to 18th position after the loss in this match. Mbappe scored two goals in the match, taking his league tally to 26 and two goals ahead of Lens striker Alexandre Lacazette. Messi was suspended by PSG for traveling to Saudi Arabia without the club’s permission, which forced him to miss the last match.
