La Liga: Four goals from Tati Castellanos, Girona beat Real Madrid

Madrid. Tati Castellanos scored four goals as Girona beat Real Madrid 4-2 to give wings to Barcelona’s La Liga title hopes. The 24-year-old Argentine player Castellanos scored twice in both the halves. He scored in the 12th, 24th, 46th and 62nd minutes and received a standing ovation from the crowd. Vinicius Junior and Lucas Vazques scored for Real Madrid but this could only reduce the margin of defeat.

Real Madrid now have 65 points from 31 matches and are second as before. Barcelona are 11 points ahead of them but have played one less match than their arch-rivals. In other matches, fifth-placed Real Betis played out a goalless draw with fourth-placed Real Sociedad while Osasuna beat Cadiz 1-0.
