Gurpreet believes it is ‘very good’ for the Indian team to play back-to-back tournaments ahead of next year’s AFC Asian Cup. The team is preparing to play in several international tournaments which include – Intercontinental Cup in Bhubaneswar, SAFF Championship in Bengaluru, King’s Cup in Thailand (September) and Merdeka Cup in Malaysia (October). Preparing for the Asian Cup to be held in Qatar in January-February, the Indian team is working hard at the training camp in Bhubaneswar ahead of the Intercontinental Cup.
