IPL 2023: Bowling decision of Super Giants, for the first time two brothers are captaining in IPL match

Ahmedabad. Lucknow Super Giants captain Krunal Pandya won the toss and elected to field against Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League here on Sunday. The Lucknow team has made one change, replacing Naveen-ul-Haq with Quinton Dickock. Gujarat Titans have included Alzarri Joseph in place of Josh Little. Little has gone on to play international cricket for Ireland.

This is the first time in IPL history that two brothers are leading two opposing teams in a match. The captain of Gujarat is Hardik Pandya. This is only the third encounter in T20 cricket when two brothers are captaining the opposing teams in a match. Earlier, Hussey brothers Mike and David have faced each other twice as captains in the Big Bash League.
