An official of the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association (MPCA) said that both the teams reached Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport in a special flight from Raipur, from where they were taken to the hotel by bus.
According to eyewitnesses, many cricket lovers gathered at the airport to have a glimpse of the players from both the teams. The police had made elaborate security arrangements there. The MPCA official said that the New Zealand team will reach the Holkar Stadium on Monday (January 23) for practice in the afternoon session, while the Indian team can reach the stadium on Monday evening for an optional training session.
