Akash Madhwal, who played a key role in Mumbai Indians’ comfortable 81-run win against Lucknow Supergiants in the Eliminator of the Indian Premier League, does not consider himself as a substitute for Jasprit Bumrah and is happy to fulfill the responsibility given by the team. Uttarakhand’s Engineer Madhwal took five wickets for five runs in 3.3 overs on Wednesday night to take Mumbai Indians one step closer to making it to the final. Madhwal said that captain Rohit Sharma knows what his strong points are and how to use them. “Rohit knows that the yorker is my strong point but during the net sessions and practice matches, he came to know that I can bowl with the new ball as well,” he said.
