Young Indian batting sensation Shubman Gill made the most of the early life he got to hit an enthralling century as Gujarat Titans posted a mammoth 233 for three against Mumbai Indians in the second Qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL), here on Friday. Made it stand Gill scored 129 runs in 60 balls and in the meantime gave a great example of his skill of playing long shots. He hit seven fours and 10 sixes in his innings. Captain Hardik Pandya contributed an unbeaten 28 off 13 balls in the last over. This is Gill’s third century in the season. He also made the highest score of his T20 career. Gill caught him at deep midwicket in an attempt to flick his yorker over the boundary line. This time David did not make any mistake in taking the catch. Pandya hit sixes on Madhwal and Jordan. Meanwhile, Gujarat retired Sudarshan before the last over and replaced him with Rashid Khan, who scored five not out.
