Cristiano Ronaldo joins Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr Club, you will be surprised to know one year’s earnings

Portugal’s team captain Cristiano Ronaldo will now be seen playing football on behalf of Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr Club. After joining this club, Cristiano Ronaldo will earn around 17 billion rupees every year. The club of Saudi Arabia had offered him to join during the FIFA World Cup.

Portugal’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who is included in the list of world’s legendary footballers, will now be seen playing football from Saudi Arabia’s Al Nasr Club. Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the club after receiving a hefty sum of money from Saudi Arabia’s football club. The European-born legend will now be seen playing football for the Middle East.

Significantly, Ronaldo could not win Portugal under his leadership during the recently held FIFA World Cup 2022. Portugal’s team also failed to make it to the semi-finals. Now after the settlement of FIFA, Ronaldo has accepted the invitation to play with the club of Saudi Arabia. The club had offered Ronaldo to join during the World Cup itself.

Club gave information

Al Nassr posted a picture of Ronaldo, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, on social media holding the team’s jersey. Ronaldo had earlier tied up with this club till June 2025. The club said that this agreement will not only inspire the club to achieve great successes, but it will also inspire us to do the best for our league, our country and future generations. This could be the final deal of the 37-year-old football star’s career and will fetch him a hefty sum of money.

According to media reports, the Portugal star could earn up to $200 million a year from the deal, which would make him the highest paid player in the history of football. Ronaldo said in a statement that he was looking forward to experiencing the new football league in a different country. “I am fortunate to have achieved all I could in European football and I feel it is the right time to share my experience in Asia,” he added.

Disappointing performance in the World Cup

Ronaldo had a disappointing World Cup in Qatar where he was not included in the starting XI for the knockout round matches. He walked off the field crying after Portugal’s quarter-final loss to Morocco. Ronaldo has previously played for top football clubs such as Manchester United and Real Madrid, with whom he also won the Champions League.
