Chelmsford. Captain Tamim Iqbal’s 69 and Mustafizur Rahman’s four wickets helped Bangladesh beat Ireland by five runs to win the one-day cricket series. Bangladesh scored 274 runs in 48.5 overs. Bangladesh won the second ODI by three wickets after the first match was washed out in rain. Iqbal shared a 49-run partnership with Najmul Hussain Shanto (35) for the second wicket and a 70-run partnership with Liton Das (35) for the third wicket. Mushfiqur Rahim scored 45 and Mehdi Hasan Miraj scored 37 runs. For Ireland, opener Paul Stirling scored 60 and captain Andy Balbirnie scored 53 runs.
